FAQ

When it’s best to contact/book you?

Clients book me 2-3 months in advance or sometimes 2 weeks. I am generally able to take on-site projects happening in less than 10 days only for returning clients ( due to necessary time for contracting) but please do get in contact and I’ll try to help you and/or refer a colleague.

Can you visualize a session that already happened?

Yes, based on video recording, script( notes) or audio recording I’ll illustrate in my studio and send it to you in the time needed.

I want a specific style, can you adapt yours?

Here you can see various styles I approach depending on the industry, event and communication objectives. You can also show me a desired style and I’ll be happy to offer a sample of that.

Can you create a welcoming board for our event? what about a participants wall ? Can you conduct a drawing activation in between our workshop sessions?

A welcoming board for your event is offered complimentary for full days events, please get in contact to see the details. I can also create a knowledge wall, participants wall and other visual solutions to be displayed at your event. As a certified trainer and former teacher, I can design and conduct a drawing activation that will energize and engage your public. I love doing this as it creates real lasting memories and connections!

Can you sign an NDA before contracting?

Of course, I sign NDA’s for many of my projects.

How do you handle breakout rooms?

There are few ways of live illustrating the breakout rooms at your event, depending if it happens online or on-site, how important is to harvest all the breakout rooms, and also on your budget. You can have a team of scribers working simultaneosly (online or on-site), or you can send some recordings or notes later on and get the visuals afterwards. Let’s talk and taylor your solution together!

Can you draw portraits of people in the room?

Also, known as the most Frequent Asked Question ????. I sometimes draw portraits of the speakers when we agree they are relevant for your event’s communication objectives. Otherwise, I’ll be a busy bee to catch the nectar of the content, so sadly I won’t be able to draw other peeps portraits.

I don’t want our participants to feel distracted by what’s projected. How can we proceed?

Once I understand your event’s flow and objectives, we’ll find the best set-up and moments for the reveal. In fact I sometimes get this question but never got the feedback that participants were distracted. We’ll work to find the best timing!

Have you worked in tech/ education / medical field.. / X industry?

Here you can make an idea about the industries & topics I worked for. However, I feel a buzz everytime I approach a new industry – this can be really exciting, as a world of specific doodles is opening in front of me. I’m ready to dive in!

How do we project your work on the spot?

We’ll run a technical ryder in advance and go through the necessary settings.

When are the deliverables ready?

For live work, visuals can be delivered imediately after each sessions, or same-day if we plan so.

Do you offer eco friendly solutions?

For bee’s sake :), I always look for eco friendly visual solutions, and the most sustainable is digital work on the tablet- even more when it’s done remotely ( so transportation carbon print is cut). If I’m on-site at your event and analogue drawing serves you better, I can work with refilllable markers, on eco friendly paper, cardboard or even on better on honeycomb ( eaglecell, fully recyclable cardboard).

Can you help with more ways of using the visuals after?

I’ll assist you to get the most out of your investment and find the best ways to display and use the visuals after the event as well. later: Till then, check this blogpost where I share 10 ways of using the illustrations for the benefit of your business.
